Grandsire Triples at St. Peter's, Drogheda

An attempt followed by a plain course of Grandsire Triples, filmed on 12th August 2017, during a District Practice at St. Peter's Church (of Ireland), Drogheda.
This church has possibly my favourite set of bells in the whole of Ireland, a view shared by quite a few who've rang there!
A 1791 John Rudhall octave, with the tenor recast in 1889 by John Taylor. An old-fashioned 8 with a bit of a long draught but they go fabulously well!

If you are ever in Ireland and want to join other ringers, you can always come along to the District Practices, held on the 1st Saturday (in the Northern District, i.e. Northern Ireland) and 2nd Saturday (Eastern District, i.e. Dublin, Wexford, Wicklow, or Louth).

Just realised that my reply hadn’t posted. Duh! Trying again... Wow. That is amazing. You must have spent a long time on it! Personally I’m into building churches, country estates and lots of other things. If you’re interested I can send you some pics? A lot of my buildings are influenced by Belgian architecture such as Brabantine Gothic architecture.

Sounds interesting, go ahead.. Ooh and I forgot to show the Cathedral's ringing room... ooh and if you want to visit it, it's on the creativefun.eu server, type /home City and you'll spawn outside the gates, the cathedral is in the middle of the city. There's also a nice collection of 10 other churches within the walls, most with change ringing bells.
