Why the hell isn’t the police that caused the accident paying this young man’s car?? Use their insurance!

I’m wondering why if her son agreed to get it then why did the mom have to take over? It seems to me like the grandmother should be mad at her son. If he got the insurance initially, then a month hasn’t passed yet unless it was insured while it was getting worked on.

I get why Mathis ruled as he did but It's unfortunate that the plaintiff's grandson is out a car and she out 5 grand. But it was a gift so there's no way she was going to recoup the money she put in either way..
@1980tiffani
@1980tiffani 9 ай бұрын
But if she gave it to the grandson as a gift… she’s not owed anything, right? If your mom bought you some sneakers or an expensive suit, if you ripped the suit or someone stole the shoes from the gym locker room.. why would your mom ask you to give her the money the suit or shoes cost? If grandma said he could use the car and had to return it when he got a new one, then yes, this situation would make sense. But if it’s a gift, and it’s gone… the grandson just doesn’t have a car now.
