I still have one of those. Mine came without power supply and this beast ate batteries as peas.

I don't think any of them came with a power supply. Grandstand sold them separately, (probably to make more money! 😉).

Was lucky enough to get this for Christmas '83. My last ever VFD electronic game. I think Firefox was the best one. The different levels and stereo sound made it head and shoulders above the rest. Kept it for many years before selling it on about 5 years ago. By March '84 I had a ZX Spectrum so that got all of my attention for the next few years 😁

They were great. With all these new 'mini' consoles coming out, I'm surprised no one's re-released these Grandstand games! Be great to see Firefox with an LCD screen!
