i have tips to share, when using granger's 1st skill after the last bullet use ult instantly for extra damage, also during 1st skill you should cancel it by pressing it again to save his energy. you can also use ult during 1st skill

The problem I have with granger is that he feels better to be played on the lane because of the stacks. The constant and consistent minions will help him achieve his stacks. If he want to be played as jungler, he needs other early game teammates to help him achieve stacks by snowballing and take enemy jungles if possible. Next is the overall lower damage of the ultimate is how to say it.... Have a bad feeling to it, for me at least.

That's why karina tank works, yes it does no dmg, but 9% lost hp dmg for 10x is going to kill you eventually. Same as granger revamp, that's why it got removed and reverted back to flat dmg( the ult is buffed by 20% atk and 30 base dmg, still not as high as pre nerf granger tho, cuz it can be infinte)

I like the revamp, Granger always gave DmC vibes and now that his S1 and S3 are spamable his S2 long cooldown is basically irrelevant when you can use just his S3 to reposition and escape… he’s basically a late game monster now and can fair better against ATK Speed MM’s compared to before since he’s not as vulnerable to stuns and his S1 attack animation won’t be cancelled and put on CD

As a player thats only been spamming Granger in the gold lane, I can confirm that this revamp can make him a monster as just an mm. As for if he can compete with other marksmen, he's just like any other burst marksman. Strong early game, but can struggle with atk speed marksmen if they know how to play.

A tip for granger is to level up skill 1 and 2 evenly(but do upgraded skill1 first for the damage) because the higher the skill 2 the more energy you'll regain for skill 1

Funnily enough, this Granger is far weaker than the original one. Whilst his basic atk dmg may still be high, his passive was what made it amazing. Not to mention, all his kit revolved around his passive, which made it extremely coherent. You knew every final bullet would crit, that you could rely on his first skill to one shot squishies, and to use his ULT to burst down distant opponents. Not only that, he was mobile. This revamp Granger's kit too simple. Too linear. It'll be difficult to balance him because of that. His first skill deals little dmg, and his ult is does even less. His 2nd skill cd is high af, and his new passive makes cdr items useless for that. Buff his 1st skill, he becomes too OP. Buff his ult, still the same. Buff his mobility, it won't do anything. But, hold on? Why do I claim this Granger is worse than the OG? The OG had nuance. You needed to utilize his passive to bring out his full potential; a passive that played heavily in his playstyle. His basic attacks weren't useless, they were good as ramps and dealing dmg when skills are on cd. His 2nd skill worked well with his first, and his ULT loved walls. All of his kit played crucial roles in his playstyle. And what does this Granger do? Spam first skill and ULT? Gain stacks? That's literally it. Once his energy is down, you won't be able to count on his basic attacks to deal enough dmg, not to mention, his stat scaling is low. He's a sitting duck for most enemies. Spam ULT on enemies? Its dmg is so low, by the time you reach the target, they'd have regenerated their HP. A lvl 1 Miya would wreck Granger; likely, most MMs will at this point. His wave clearing weakens over time, too. Super minions literally take 2-4 1st skills before they die. And that's late on full build physical pen and high physical atk items. You know how fast OG Granger's wave clearing was? One 1st skill = 1-3 minions. One 1st skill kills late game creeps and squishies. A way for Granger to recover without reverting him is to do this: Passive: The 3rd dmg that he deals is always a crit. 2nd skill cd from down to 10s-5s. To balance, his crit dmg is reduced. Why? • His basic attack dmg is one of the highest. • So his ULT and first skills don't need to be scaled too much just to meet the needs. • So he can still move around like he used to. That's literally it. And if this isn't enough. Make it so that everytime he hits an enemy with his third atk, his ult would deal extra dmg based on the enemy's HP (missing, extra, or current). And the effect stacks up to 2 times. Even if he was the choice for a revamp, the devs could've just reskinned him and explained why he didn't need it, and would just revamp another hero instead. But no...

granger is gud because you can poke enemies more with his ult from afar and it doesnt have a cooldown, plus more stacks means more ult(but do save it though because if the enemy mm is fed. youll need that long range because you cant go tow to tow with them but you do have mobility and range so use it to your advantage) then if mm is low, finish it of with first skill. or basic attack(with endless battle true damage or hepta buff)and quick follow up with firstskill

With granger currently I found that all you need is just hunter strike and malefic roar for dmg, the rest you can add sky piercer, waraxe and queen wings for a lifestealer build or Bruteforce Chestplate, Endless and BOD for a TANKY and true dmg build

I can usually bully enemy gold lane when i hit lvl4 and do a 1 hit combo with granger, and since they released this revamp i can no longer do those with the new playstyle with granger moonton wanted (Granger ruined) Also i noticed, you can build atk speed items with revamp granger which is not allowed back then but i think it's a bad idea.

Granger has become terrifyingly powerful. His ultimate skill has become much stronger, using it eight times in a row with very high damage is enough to kill any archer or warrior. He is also fast in both chasing enemies and escaping. The best armored build game.

Already played two matches with him and as a Ceci and Clint main, he clicked with me instantly. Which is saying a lot because I was dogshit as the old Granger. His damage is lacking in the early game though so it's really important to rush HS or BOD. I say Clint because the damage in his ult is reaaaally lacking (unless snowball) and it's more of a utility/emergency skill like Clint's (but better sniping potential ofc). FOB is one of the best talents for him right now.
