Just ordered this exact motor n esc on Amazon. does it get super hot running on just 2s too? I see you went with another combo for you typhoon is this kingsval still good?

My kingval is still good yes And 2s is great , just 3s if run hard It gets pretty hot I could gear down with like 16t pinion and deff would help

We put a 6300KV Castle system in mine and it ran hot right away. Went with a castle 4100KV with stock pinion ratio and it's good to go. Runs 29 mph on stock 2s battery.

I got a system just like that but red and different kv but I can’t get it to run. It just keeps jerking and not wanting to move no matter how I change the motor wires. I can’t figure it out.

It’s KingsVal 6100kv with 35amp ESC Picked up on Amazon I think it’s 24mm by 35mm long With 2.3mm shaft

What did you use for a gear? Having a hard time finding the proper .5 mod gears that fit 3.175 shaft
