I’ll definitely be getting the Grom when my LHS gets the green ones in stock. I don’t mind that it’s brushed and only goes a little over 20mph. I’m getting mine mostly to play with in my basement during the winter months. I had one of the MJX hyper go’s. It was cool at first. Quick little car that was fun. But at least for me, the novelty wore off quickly. I didn’t bash mine hard at all. When things broke, I had to order parts online and wait, and wait, and wait for them. And once a few things broke that weren’t immediately in amazons stock, the waiting really began. I won’t lie I really enjoyed it when it was running. But having zero parts support at any of my nearby LHS’s was a pain in the a$$. After it started sitting on my work bench waiting for parts to arrive more than I was driving it, it was time to go! I finally received the parts, fixed it, and gave it to my neighbors kids. At least with the Grom, it may not be as fast, or look as flashy, but the parts support by Arrma alone will make it a much better smaller RC to have than those MJX cars, in my opinion anyway. And remember people it’s just my opinion, I’m not bashing on the MJX. I really liked mine it was cool as hell. But the fun for me stopped when I had to keep waiting for repair parts to show up in the mail.

I ordered spare parts for the Hyper Go before anything broke, as well as did some upgrades on it. I've kept it running ever since. All RC cars break at some point, I am just preemptive with the parts. With the upgraded parts, my hyper go breaks down far less than my Traxxas.

Some people were saying only 19 so 21 is pretty darn good 5:08

For brushed 1/18 that isn't bad. But they need a brushless.

Did your steering also improve with the spectrum upgrade? Mine did in my hyper go.... Has 315 receiver and SLT 3 transmitter. Huge difference I think..

Yes it did I like it better than stock one it came with . Using SLT2 and SR215 it’s actually for my grandson , so helps him being smaller transmitter from the SLT3

Do you by chance have a link for the tires and rims on the hyper go?
