So true. The fool has said in his heart (and today loudly by voice and pen) that there's no God. Psalms 14:1. But God reigns! He reigns over His Creation, His jurisdiction, the entire world. Soon He will judge EVERYONE who ever lived, is currently living and will ever live before He comes. Judgment will be made in favor of those who lived in harmony with His Holy Moral Law, the law of liberty by which all will be judged and which is evidence that they received the Atonement made for them on the cross at Calvary. The essence of God is that He is love. Two overarching features of God which come out of His love are His mercy (grace)and justice. He deals with us as His children with love mercy and grace and does not always give us what we deserve. But in the final day of recogning His judgment will be correct. It will be just, (fair) without fault for He is the Righteous Judge. Praise the Lord!

James 2:12 tells us that we will be judged by the law of liberty. Many other Scriptures tell us that God's Holy Ten Commandments Law is that standard by which He judges. It reflects His character and He designs that humans live by its principles in order to develop character traits like his. Holy characters, fit for heaven. This is the reason He repeatedly commands us to be holy (in our sphere as He is in His).See 1 Peter 1:15! 16, Hebrews 12"14 For without holiness NO one shall see God.
