I actually was able to complete a project using your tutorial. I have too many unfinished projects in my closet so I was determined to finish this one. It came out beautifully so I sent it to my sister who lives in a cold climate. Now I am making one for me! Thanks for your easy to follow tutorial.

My first large crochet project was in 1973-a granny square afghan in shades of Red Heart blues. It refuses to die, so It still gets used. That original yarn was indestructible!

I love the Premier Puzzle yarn too. I made a wave stitch Afghan from Premier website. The yarn is so nice to work with. It works up nice and fast, really moves along. I think I used a J hook, and it is nice and drapey. I used the Riddle color which is blues and greys. My husband loves this throw for his recliner. This yarn gets even softer as you wash it and it holds up well. Have had it about 5 years or more now. It is so easy to hang up on pants hangers to dry if you want and dries fast. But it is machine dryable too. I think I bought every color, because at Walmart they usually have colors for $5.99 a skein. This granny stitch pattern looks very nice❣️

I want to do this blanket and change colors. Do you suggest color every row or every 3 rows. I’m using a 5 weight yarn and I don’t want it to busy I’m using white, green, yellow and black. (Oregon ducks colors). Also how you do the order of color? I would appreciate your input or anyone’s opinion

Hello! My suggestion would be to change colors every 3 rows. As far as the color order, I'm thinking green, yellow, white, and black. Line up the skeins to see if this color order looks good to you. I would also suggest making a small swatch to see if you like how the colors look in that order. I bet it'll turn out beautifully!
