Are people still assuming that this ‘remake’ was made by the original devs of Granny? If so, no it’s not made by the same devs but by someone completely different WITHOUT permission and despite being told by the original devs to take it down off from steam they refused as Granny isn’t trademarked. Even Insym a popular phasmophobia streamer commented about it. If I’m correct this game was also a cash grab which is probably one of the reasons I’m assuming the og devs of Granny were mad.

Mind you the "remake" wasnt created by the original dev of Granny, calling it a "remake" when its nature is just a fan game is very misleading. By the looks of it the creator seems to not mind this game yet for now, but they have all the legal rights to sue and take down the game for using the title that should only belong to them so you shouldnt use the word "remake" as you change it to just "fan game"

I tried this game, it’s awesome with good graphics, this granny wasn’t that creepy (actually the original creep me tf out) she makes weird noises to make you nervous enough but after playing for half an hour I got used to it. They changed a little in the house design so it won’t be boring we all got used to the original map. What really jumpscared me is that spikes panel suddenly appearing in some area, I was escaping then BAM it appeared, brooo. The game was spooky I got a bit angry in it cuz I’m not used to the new map but I liked it It’s good and appreciated

The remake version of Granny doesn't appear or seem to be human. She seems to be a terrifying zombified demon creature lurking through the shadows. She built her house through her weird powers. It feels like she was never human. Or she was, but she got corrupted by demonic creatures who tortured her and twisted her smile. Or she escaped hell after she transformed into a demonic creature. She is also very silent and she seems to guard around the place where she had last seen us.

Can you even really blame her? In a sense, you can blame this version of Granny for eating people no more than a tiger eating its regular prey. Her features are a dead giveaway that she’s not only not human, but her main source of food are humans. She’s just a hunter, hunting for food. EDIT: One more thing. I don’t think the guillotine and note necessarily are there because she cares for their emotions out of some sense of empathy. She just wants to prevent a “fiery carcass” situation. It’s something humans do when they slaughter animals, we make sure they are calm so that when they die their blood isn’t pumping too fast. This “fiery carcass” effect prolongs rigor mortis and makes the meat way tougher than it needs to be. She’s basically tenderizing her future meal ahead of time by calming it. It’s a subtle, but fascinating detail.
