So my theory for Granny killing Angelina would be because she kills her daughter. Going along with the idea that Granny's punishing men specifically, probably related to the abusing women stuff (the protagonists might not have abused women but the super natural phenomenon were caused by abuse and then made men the target), then Granny was likely abused by her husband. If she was abused by her husband then I wouldn't believe Grandpa's actually her husband. It could be one of those cases where an unrelated person is used to fill the family gap, kinda like the villains towards the end of Demon Slayer's first season. The way the story plays out to me would be that Granny was constantly abused by her husband, which Angelina would have witnessed if not experienced as well. Granny one day kills her husband, perhaps making it look like an accident or natural causes which Angelina sees through. Angelina has trouble comprehending her mother's actions and her own feelings of the event. Angelina is also married to an abusive man and decides to take his life, and she sees that this is a cycle, first her mother kills her abusive husband, then she decides to kill hers, so chances are her daughter will be in an abusive marriage that drives her to murder. Having snapped at this point she decides to kill her daughter as well, seeing it as a sort of mercy. Granny loved her granddaughter and seeing the state her daughter was in, chains her to a wall, perhaps justifying it as "for her own sake" but also perhaps out of anger. Granny passes away before she can unchain her daughter, who eventually dies with sorrowful regrets, that this is her deserved death for killing her family. All of this sorrow and anger circulating around this family, along with their misdeeds, curses them to be vengeful spirits in decrepit bodies.

Angelene didn't got killed by Granny instead she died from a incident in the final Slanderina game ( *Slanderina X* ) where the player/protagonist is trap inside of Slanderina's husband castle or mansion. To escape the place, you need to find the book where you can trap Slanderina inside. If you succeeded traping inside Slanderina in the book. The place will suddenly collapse with an earthquake, you need to run into the exit fast. Good thing the player/antagonist escape but unfortunately her husband and Angelene didn't able to make it which leads them to death. The reason why she didn't kill you when you put the Teddy Bear on the crip it's because she's unable to do so. Since the Granny series is the aftermath of the final Slanderina game. Granny's goal is to eat her victims wether it's a male or a female. She also try everything to revive back Slanderina.

Mrs.Hargensen was driven crazy after his employees didn't told him to not drink but he didn't listened. March 1949: One Month later, Greta's Mother was driven crazy and tried to kill a camp counselor but too late as she's beheaded by a machete. 1949: Greta was sent into an Orphanage and was abused by wallas. 1949: Gregory met Greta at a bar. 1950: They were married at Hackensack New Jersey. She gived birth to twin brothers named bob and buck and a one daughter named angelene. 1950: Gregory joined an army, they won the war as he was given a helicopter, house. But Greta decided to live with him but he agreed as if Greta's house was given to their child. 1965: Angelene (probably 18?) met Simon at a street, Bob and Buck was employed to be the guards. 1968: Angelene (21) now married to Simon and lived at her parent's house. 1968/Few Months Later: Angelene was pregnant to a baby girl which would be named Selena. 1968/after 12 months: She succeed to give birth to Selena. Simon wished Selena have a happy life. 1990 (correct me if I'm wrong): Few years later, she graduated in college, Angelene cooked them food, and Simon felt pale during that time and felt dizzy. Slendrina wrote her diary 1991: She walked on the woods only to encounter an entity named Nazrat, sending her a curse that would make her turn into an entity. Her curse was sent into other family members except her two uncles. Slender Man Rise Again: The first appearance of Anthony, he was a paranormal investigator and a detective, he was missioned to find 8 pages and books after the curse of the wood family. He encounters simon, tall and no face, he also encountered slendrina at a village, Simon failed his plans but slendrina is there to do it. Slendrina (the first game): Anthony were stranded on a forest out of nowhere after finding 8 pages and in the ending you found a nearby basement and missioned to find books and discover the mystery of the family. Slendrina The Cellar: 2 days later, you were missioned to find the 8 books, you saw her again, but she failed to kill you. House Of Slendrina: 2 Months after finding the 8 books, you realised you dropped them while running away from her, and her books are stored in their house, you were introduced to her mother, angelene. You found out she was cursed as you looked back, their they are, as turned out, you were injured and kicked. Slendrina 2d: she's probably pregnant at that time and married her husband. Slendrina: Asylum: 1 month after 2d, she gave birth to her son, her husband bitted him cursing his son. The Child Of Slendrina: this would takes place 2 years later after Asylum and her child is 2. Slendrina The School: 1years after giving birth to her Child, she visited her school, to avoid her enemy but failed again. Before Cellar 2: She gets help from her mom and son, and taken the books to hide it again. Slendrina The Cellar 2: You were again missioned to find the 8 books you failed to stole, in there. She gets help from her mother and son, soon again failed. Before Forest: Angelene killed Slendrina's husband stuffing him in a coffin. Slendeina The Forest: you succeeded to stole the books, the baby decided to live in the cellar and you were again missioned to find her dead husband. Before Slendrina X: Liev gets revenge for his Mom in law and locked her up without slendrina knowing. After you nearly died by slendrina, you came across her husband and attacked you, taking you to his territory. Slendrina X: You were imprisoned by the couple, and as you find a book, performed an exorcism to kill her, but failed. The castle collapsed as her soul is still haunting. Before Granny: Greta visited the castle and find slendrina's book and the corpses of her daughter, angelene and his grandson in law, her grandson in law was taken to her husband's house locked up. Granny Chapter 1: 2 Months after killing slendrina, you suffered into PTSD, after nearly got killed, you visited the forest just to burn the book as turns out you were captured. You escaped the house as greta failed. Before Granny 2: Anthony leaves the country, and was retired, replaced by Zack, missioned to kill the family but realises slendrina is dead and the rest are deadly. Granny Chapter 2: she was helped by her husband Gregory, Zack walks in the house (From the first game), rested realising she returned hitting his head. He woked up realizing she was driving you to Grandpa's house. Few days later they failed to kill you as you escaped. Before The Twins: The police got a call by Zack, he mentioned Granny and Grandpa's killings and wanted them to be arrested, later jailed into the New Jersey Prison, guarded by twin brothers, it turns out the twins are related to the family as being the sons of Greta and Gregory, they attacked the polices killing them. They teamed up to kill and torture anyone who's going to stole the stolen objects in a museum. The Twins: Zack has a brother named, Alexander, he was a former robber, later as he was missioned to stole the objects stolen by the infamous twin brothers. Zack told him to not go as Granny and Grandpa was in the prison as Alex told him "No, i can do it, I'd be prisoned". The twin brothers are failed to kill him and decided to give their money to their parents and buyed a new house. Before Granny 3: Gregory and Greta sold a house with disguising as a normal perosn later killing him, locked him in a prison to rot, they also summoned slendrina. After Alexander succeeded, he got stranded on a forest, he realized the old man he saw was the man he saw in the prison, Gregory now has a gun, shooting him in the leg. Granny 3: he woke up in a prison/cellar, as he realize the couple he saw in the prison was the one owns the house. As he regreted to stole the painting, diamond and the coin. The couple failed to kill hin with their granddaughter. The police find him bleeding, as he was rushed to the hospital. I had a dream about this game/a game similar. I remember walking through a house, through a garden, and then repeat. after doing it 2 times, the third time, when i walked through the doorway i started in, i saw granny's face peaking around the corner. After i saw her, she launched at me and it cut to a screen with her face bloody and text that read "I blame myself for your death. I'm sorry." was very fuckin spooky.

This is my theory (fast version): Simon met Granny in the first house long ago and over time fell in love with Angeline. After some time they got married, and moved away from Granny's cottage before Angeline was moved to a mental asylum, where she had her daughter, Slendarina. This mental illness was most likely passed down from Granny to her daughter and granddaughter, leading Slendarina to also go to a mental asylum/special school with her white teddy bear. Maybe a decade later they were both released, shortly before Angeline murdered Simon and Slendarina (maybe later as Slendarina had a child). This house is location 2 in Granny. Granny, out of pure rage and her mental illness, shackled Angeline to a wall and let her die for murdering the person she loved most, Slendarina. Somewhere in this timeline, Slendarina had the spider child with the vampire, and went to live in a castle, maybe as a ghost or maybe as a human. They both loved in the castle until the husband died, presumably before Slendarinas death or somewhere in the timeline. This castle was abandoned and used in location 3 in Granny; making the house owners Granny, her daughter, and her granddaughter. In the end, Granny became some sort of demon out of her grief and pain, becoming immortal (something I originally interpreted as her locking herself in the house, not her trying to keep the player in). Simon became Slenderman, in search of Slendarina, treasuring her drawings as a child, as he now hated his wife. Slendarina haunted basements, her old school, asylum, and helped Granny in catching the player, although still not being truly evil.

I have a theory. The story starts with Granny herself who was a human who had two children. One being Angeline [ In the bookshelf area ] and the spider head in the sewers. We are unsure of the identity of spider head but Angeline, She was the mother to Slendrina. Long story short, Slendrina was killed by Angeline because she was born deformed, She killed her husband because he would notice her. This was due to the fact that Grandpa was a war vet and was carrying mutant dna. Slendrina's spirit took over Granny's body and turned her into her "Host" and finally got revenge on Angeline. This spirit had given herself power to create a creature. This creature, her child, was an amalgamation of a child and spider. Remember, all of this was done by Slendrina when she was still a toddler. She then, Also killed Grandpa and turned him into a vessel due to his veteran skills. Now, Slendrina might seem like an Evil Spirit but she might just have something or someone above her that controls/provides her power. All the houses are made using our fear, They do not exist. The spider head also is weird because we aren't sure who controls her.

The reason for Angelines death, actually isnt granny, but her own daugfhter Slendrina. Slendrina had a husband who was a vampire, but Angeline put him into a coffin until the player opened it and woke him up. Slenderina got mad and hung her mom. I think it's also the reason why Angeline was crying in Slenderina: The house

I think people always miss out that the second house is grandpa's house not granny's and she is just paying a visit to grandad. This is proven in the cut scene on the pc version of granny chapter 2 when granny wakes you up in the original room then knocks you out. She then brings you to her car where you can see her drive somewhere.
