Hello! Sorry for my brief absence, I decided to take a break during August, as it was too hot to get anything done.
I started working on this arrangement about five years ago, but at the time, my workflow was not as refined as it is now, and I found it too difficult to record, so I scrapped it after recording a handful of tracks.
Now that I sort of know what I'm doing, I decided to dust it off and re-record everything from scratch. This was a huge pain in the butt to mix, and there are still a few things that I'm not sure about, but I eventually decided that at some point I had to just stop tweaking things and upload it.
Also, a huge thank you to my Patrons for making this video possible! This arrangement originally ended after the Freezeezy Peak section, but I decided to spend some money on some (more) PVC pipes so I could record the Clanker's Cavern section. Then I decided to add the Furnace Fun section to give it a more definitive ending.

Nuts & Bolts isn't even that bad of a game is the funny thing, It's just not a Banjo Kazooie game. If it was kept separate from the franchise, or at least a spin-off title it would have been so much better
@Dante-Balisk
@Dante-Balisk 2 жыл бұрын
@@Bubbly_Dragon Isn't the title Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts already a spin-off name like Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge and Banjo's Pilot? If it was a direct main game sequel it probably wouldve been called Banjo Threeie.

What really amazed me as a kid who grew up with NES and Genesis, is that when the N64 came out, games like SM64 & Banjo Kazooie changed the music depending on where you went but had the same time, just like how you captured it in this video. Are you in Grundy's Lair going toward the snow level? You get a 'taste' of that levels music before entering it. Same with all of the levels, it astonished me how the developers did that.

@larrote6467

This is meant to be an honest question: I don't understand, why does Kirkhope gets so much praise? From my perspective, his style of creating 1-5 themes and then doing all of these variations fits the gameplay really really well, and the compositions are nice, but to me it feels like he can only do 1 song, I can't even tell the difference between the DK64, BK and BT soundtracks, and then when it comes to Goldeneye which does sound different, well the songs within Goldeye follow these formulas. So what am I missing? to me it feels he's a limited composer that's used very well, but legendary? I think a lot more video game composers have much more range

Not only am I in awe of your ability, and not only does this rendition of the theme give me huge member berries, but my 8 month old son, who has never heard of a "Banjo Kazooie", is enthralled by the music in this video. I have played it for his entertainment tens of times by now. He loves it! (...I love it too) Fantastic work, man. Edit: My son is now a year old. As I write this addendum, I lie in bed with my dear boy, I have this video playing on the television, and life is good. This song seems to help him go to relax and, ultimately, fall asleep! It has been a great help in my fatherhood journey. One day I will introduce him to Banjo Kazooie properly. Until then, this rendition will play, play, and play!

This Kirkhope composition was heavily inspired by the old teddy bear picnic rag later and more famously covered and rearranged by Henry Hall and his orchestra in my opinion. Great game especially with grant and rare involved. Edit: I just realized I left a comment 10 months ago already saying all that lol. I thought I dreamt doing it. Must've been late at night.
