I had my GS kangaroo boots for trip to Russia. Did not forest hike in them but walk a lot of gravel roads one full day. They worked ok.

Great Boots! I have the same pair I originally got in 10D sold them. Got a pair in 9.5D and the fit was still off and finally realized my GS size in 9E. The boot is now discontinued so I missed that boat!

hiking? seriously they are not designed for use in the wild. Get yourself a bigger suitcase and bring regular hiking boots! Nice review and I really enjoy how thorough your are in your reviews!//all the best troutbumandsam

I have two pairs of GS. Ottawa in Crimson aka Dark brown and Diesel in dune. Love them but will not pay $600 for made in china shoes :)
