Everyone rejected him: daisy shot him, coulson said he would never be on the team again, jemma tried to kill him, fitz visible still angry at him There was no way he was getting back in the team so they just made him evil

Ward is probably my favorite mcu villain, even if the series might not be canon anymore. I can’t really say why, KillMonger, Thanos, Loki or Wilson Fisk are probably better but I just felt a connection with this character. We saw him be a hero, a villain, a person trying to atone, a person out for revenge , and even a hopeless romantic.( he did have two very sweet courtships….. and ironically enough they both ended with someone getting shot.) hat’s off to the writers and Brett dalton for making this fun character.

There’s rumblings that it might not be. It could just be internet gossip, the execs might not be able to decide if they want to keep it, or maybe they decide that it’s an alternate reality or only a handful of seasons are canon. It’s been confirmed it’s getting a reboot series so they might decide to change everything or ignore some parts. After the fourth season the show rarely followed the films, but since the inhumane were never introduced in the films maybe they’re going to erase the inhuman plot lines and make way for the X-men? Until there is an official statement or the new show comes out it’s tough to say.

@@advaitsrkarmarkar3540 Barton definitely. Rumlow if he ain't got that exo-suit. Romanoff? Her training goes under the Red Room and SHIELD combined, she's been doing this since the 80s and knows every way through a fight. I think Ward can handle her for a few minutes before she wails on him.

@@man-spider389 yeah we have not seen Barton fight as we saw Romanoff . Maybe he is a good contender but Romanoff was a high level hydra agent and had contacts with many influential people and was a good fighter ... And of course Romanoff was known to be the finest of em all. If you see Marvel's agents of shield .. they referred her as the best fighter a dozen times...so this shows she is a true fighter and can defeated ward

Daisy could've made Ward a better person in season 2 or 3. She was a way better love interest to ward than both May and Agent 33. Ik that ever since ward's death, daisy's the only one who remembers him and ik she still has a feeling for him.
