This is quickly becoming my favorite golf channel. I really enjoy all the subtle hidden lessons while you humbly play great golf. The content and production values are on the rise. Big things ahead here.

Grant is not just an excellent amateur golfer; he also has such a kind, gentle, friendly manner. His voice helps as well. It appears that everyone who plays with him enjoys the experience. I could especially see that with that excellent boy golfer in a previous video. The little boy really took to Grant, and some very talented kids in sports or entertainment can be a pain to deal with.

Grant is the most consistent golfer out of good good. I remember texting my cousin when we were watching the uk major and he was team TIG and the chips and constant fairway drives this man hits is insane. Watching him win that thing was crazy cool to watch. The fact that he has good religious values and has positivity 24/7 just shows how great of a guy Grant is. Huge fan. Also, congrats on the engagement Grant!

9:55 Quite the generous drop you gave yourself there considering it never crossed the hazard 🤣
@Leo-eb1wl2 жыл бұрын
That par 3 drop was probably the most dubious call I’ve seen. From the tee it clear went straight into the rocks short of the green, never having crossed the hazard. You have yourself a great break there.

Grant...you definitely should! Imagine now how the crowd would affect you positively with their cheers and clapping and waving. I know you had another video where supporters came out and lined the course, it did seem to rattle everyones nerves a little bit both in a good way and a bad way. I'd say keep doing those events where fans come out and line the course, it'll help you zone in and play your ultimate game, also a professional caddie would make a huge difference too, someone that you really get along with well and they understand your game.

Came over here after (attempting) to watch the latest Foreplay scramble borefest. Putting a finger on what makes this content better is that Grant (and the other Good Good guys) take you inside the ropes. You feel like you are right there with them. They talk to the viewer each shot, tell them what they are thinking, what kind of shot they have coming up and the challenges of the shot. Not just an endless succession of golf shots mixed with stock drone footage and bad background music. Keep up the good work.

BTW Grant, regarding putting (i think you commented about it at some point). If you line up the ball (the line on the golf ball) before you put, the ball will 'appear to roll with a straight line, and the line not going in all different directions when the ball rolls - also when you putt, not just when the 'proos' do it)
@kennethwood39842 жыл бұрын
I believe that if you can stay reasonably relaxed and let it flow, you'll do great 'cause you got mad skills. YOU know that a big part is controlling that energy. But you can be sure that we will be pulling for you and sending up a prayer here and there. Wish you all the best. You'll be fine.

and think of how many shots you left out there and how many more of those players you’d have beat! Great video
@inb42302 жыл бұрын
Also need to think those players had greens rolling at 14 on the stemp, not punched greens,much harder pin placement and knee high rough. A golf course prepped for a tour tournament will steal 10+ shots off a scratch golfer EASILY, those guys would shoot 8 under or better with this conditions.People love to fool themselves, I remember a video grant and Garrett played a match right after a pga tour event, they 3 putted nearly every hole,neither could hold a green,sometimes with a wedge in hand

@DanWessonSpecialist2 жыл бұрын
Although you scored better than a few who didn’t make the cut, there are a few things to remember. For tour pros they do the following- tighten the fairways with grass height, put pins in difficult locations, push tees to limits, shave greens to make them quicker, let rough get a bit higher, and then there is the fan issue. Trampled grass, ropes, tents, bodies, and noise.

Hey guys love these comparison tournament videos, I know it would be more research and more FX but would it be possible to show what everyone in the tournament shot after each hole and where you would be ranked after each hole you shot, so we could see you jumping or dropping (hopefully not) through the 18 holes. Think it would be a good touch, love your temperament Grant as you play golf, this is what I call good chewing gum for the eyeballs 👀
@KQKQ232 жыл бұрын
Love your content Grant! In danger of sounding like an armchair psychologist, I think reading up on some bob rotella books, particularly "putting out of your mind" would serve you well in your game. I see in your commentary and self talk some of the faults that the book DIRECTLY addresses, and I think it would do you good to read/re-read that book and put some of the stuff into practice :)
