Grants Pass v Johnson - Public Camping Laws

Martin v Boise set a lot of the western United States into chaos. Most places did not have the resources to "care for" a homeless population, so police officers were restricted from enforcing many public camping laws. This led to tent cities, increased crime, and a serious decrease in quality of life for people throughout the 9th Circuit. Grants Pass v Johnson sets things right! If you're a law enforcement officer who has to take enforcement action for public camping laws, this video is for you. Let's also not forget that the argument of "there aren't enough shelter beds" is just not true, especially given that most of these people haven't even _attempted_ to acquire a bed in a shelter. This has nothing to do with "status" and has everything to do with hedonism. If you have mental illness, you need to seek therapy in an institution, not be hanging out on the street where you are a danger to yourself and others. If you're an addict, you need to be seeking recovery, not doing drugs in a tent in a park.

Please do a follow on video regarding the federal lands cleanup. My area is within the 8th Circuit, but my localities are dealing with homeless and their encampments, and they've been a bone of contention for years. Please help to provide more context for us to make informed decisions. Great video as always!
