Thanks Ken. Good Patch idea! I brought in a vocal sample, from the Music Thing Modular Radio Music module, through the Ring Mod In, controlling restart with Gate out and Pitch to speed. Using the same Env 3 settings on the RM Vol creates a really granular sample effect.

Was messing with something similar a couple weeks ago, super happy you made a vid on this. The Hydra still boggles me with what can be done to this day.

Thanx Ken, I love these in depth & focused tutorials, & even more that you share the patches with us so we can explore them more. I'm looking forward to layering these with something else on my Deluxe. (Also how different they sound without the ''KZbin colouration''!!) Keep up the good work/play . . . . 🤓

Cool execution achieving granular synthesis on non-sampler. My fave granular synthesis machine? ASR-10!

Thanks! Granular certainly has its merits. I don’t use it on everything but it’s useful to lay sound beds and atmosphere for sure

The Hydrasynth is already a classic for those who think a bit more deeper than presets, sample packs, and buying plug ins..
