Living in Ventura County CA I fish the Channel Islands all my life (43) and I’d love to come that way to hire you to fish for a couple days on whatever boat your captaining I work in the marine industry as a fabricator /mechanic doing stainless Fab and maintenance repairs on trailer boat to 48’.I’ll find a window when I’m not busy and let you do your thing . Pelagic fishing is freakin’ awesome but just like I heard you say before bottom fishing for meat sounds amazing .we can’t deep drop here per Cali rules , think they max us at 350’ and all the best stones have been band from commercial and civilians in our waters....
