A video clip, shown on Faroese Television on Tuesday (November 26), showed a
washed-up dead sperm whale explode, spraying entrails all over. The dead whale had been lying on the beach for two days after it got stuck in waters
Between the Faroe Islands' two biggest islands.On Tuesday, marine biologist Bjarni Mikkelsen was dispatched to cut it open. As he did so, the whale exploded - the explosion being the result of methane gas accumulating during decomposition.

That's probably why he cut it the way he did, using a long pole and slicing a small hole to try to vent the gases out. It exploded anyway but having it pop out the small weak point he cuts through is better than the whole thing exploding.

The herbivores did eat rocks because think about how much green material they had to eat, they were literally so big that all they did was eat leaves and digest them all day long, so if you look at a brontosaurus or any similar type of megadinosaur they had those huge bellies that hung all the way to the ground, so that’s what those bellies were for - constant digestion of fibrous leafy material to convert it into energy, since they didn’t eat protein obviously. And as for livers I’m guessing since there were no humans that meant no toxins so they probably didn’t need livers. Did you know when humans first found dinosaur fossils they thought were the bones of giant humans? You have to admit, that does seem more probable than giant reptile-ish creatures who ate plants and rocks all day long…did you know velociraptors were actually the size of modern chickens? And they were covered in feather-like structures? It’s true. That Steven Spielberg’s full of s***, man.
