@rickykeel45986 жыл бұрын
Choked you mean? Either way how does that relate to my comment? I mean if he is living in a shelter that's his business, but that doesn't give him the right to antagonize others without repercussions. If i was living in a shelter with my two kids, I would definitely not be participating in any activities that could endanger my children and their lives. If he goes to jail, who then takes care of his kids that live in a shelter with him.

Actually you have to be careful with putting people in rear naked chokes as I believe in some places its completely illegal even in self defense and if you aren't trained to let go within maximum 6 seconds without even thinking about it, you could face some seriously heavy charges, some could even stretch it to using deadly force as it's very easy to cause brain damage or put someone into a serious coma or death from a blood choke. I haven't verified all this, but this is just what I've heard

Very professional, he didn't try to bloody him up or hurt him, he just did what needed to be done to stop the confrontation, quick rear naked, set him down softly, he'll wake up and not remember that he was even mad.
@jackhughman2826 жыл бұрын
K. Ad If he had atherosclerotic plaque that was bad enough, he would of probably had an MI just from getting this worked up. I didn't see an affected side and if he had previous CVA he would probably know better than to do anything that would cause him increased ICP and he'd probably know better than to compromise his health and risk another ischemic attack or CVA so he could scream at people on a train. Maybe next time he can bring some t-PA or 81mg aspirin with him so he can safely pick a fight.
@jackhughman2826 жыл бұрын
K. Ad furthermore, if you've ever been in a fight, you know that at 0:50 he might be getting ready to throw a sucker punch. His body language and language itself is becoming increasingly agressive, with his fists clenched forward, chest puffed, leaning his face into his perceived opponent, pacing side to side and back and forth. The other guy tries to gently move him away for a with the back of his hand for a while before deciding he had enough and diffused the situation.

And you should always take legal advice from the comments of a KZbin video
@TheQuarterbackX6 жыл бұрын
I am guessing you were not talking to me about taking legal advice from youtube, though to others that may be reading my response? Eith way I can agree with that. No one knows my background, source for statement, and laws from one topic to another can vary from place to place. My source is the state lawbook that is required reading in my state. And, it is what all police officers are requored to fallow in my state. Read the proper book in your own state, under assault and terroristic threats. In the state I am in both are criminal offences. And, in my state you do have a right to defend yourself when assaulted. Though again, I agree and encourage people to do their own homework a d come to their own conclusions. That being said when someone is bumping up against someone, being aggressive towed you, and escalating the situation to a more and more aggressive manner, I think many people put in that situation would think they should have a right to defend themselves. Please share your thoughts on the situation?

Assault: the threat or use of force on another that causes that person to have a reasonable apprehension of imminent harmful or offensive contact. I think you are correct to say this was an assault by the drunk man. There are many instances where the man gives a reasonable apprehension that he is not only preparing for combat but he is ready to make physical contact with you (a battery). For defense - you need to use proportional force to repel the threat. Here, the guy appears to have used reasonable force. Reasonable standard is objective - what an ordinary person would do under similar circumstances.
@paulram42106 жыл бұрын

Punched me like 10 times in the face, although a dirty move I grabbed him and threw him to the ground and booted him straight in stomach. As I was walking away people were saying I was out of order for doing that. I don't like fighting and people always seem to want to fight so I'll do something stupid like smash their head into a wall. That's why I try to talk my way out of it, take a diplomatic approach because that animal in me wants what I consciously do not want as a civilised Human being.

The rear naked choke isn’t really a move that’s taught to be executed when standing in front of your opponent. And ending a confrontation properly should be resolving it like adults and not punching, kicking, or choking someone. I’ve trained more than the average guy and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that I’ve never come out of a match/fight/spar without something sore, swollen, and hurting. And in the eyes of the courts, the guy that throws the first punch is charged with assault. Nobody wins in a street fight.
@slipp3ryslop36 жыл бұрын
Yeah, real smart. The dude's lucky he didn't have a knife ready to grab, because both his arms were too busy with the choke to fend off any amount of stab attempts. RNC is one of the best options on the mat where there are rules and a ref, but on the street it renders you defenseless to counter-attacks (eye gouge, groin shots and weapon attacks) as well as ambushes from accomplices.

The idea is that you don't want to grapple with a guy that is much larger than you. For a smaller guy the strategy for fighting a bigger guy is to hit him with weak annoying shots and let him rage on and expend his energy until he's tired and slows down. At that point you can start hitting him with accurate and clean power shots. You might not take a big guy down in 1 or 2 hits but I don't care who you are, if you get hit clean enough times you will go down eventually. Really the only thing smaller guys have to be wary of is a big guy going for a takedown, which without any sort of training is more than likely going to be an obvious and slow attempt at a double or single leg. When they do that all you need is a well timed and placed knee to the head. Having fighting experience helps a lot in situations like this because you have the ability to stay relaxed and think straight. Inexperienced people will get flustered and act irrationally, ultimately causing them to make a grave error or expend more energy than they should tiring themselves out and ultimately becoming defenseless.
@matt88636 жыл бұрын
Agreed Blurgh...I would even consider being trained to "Relax and think straight" is more important than the fighting style being taught.

Beautiful & responsible take down. This man should be praised for what he did. A subway full of bystanders and a man who is drunk and violently ill-tempered. If they had started throwing fists, someone, specifically an innocent subway passenger could have been hurt. They were not, because the "MMA FIGHTER" was/is a real man. Listen. There are two kinds of fights. Big talking fights where both men preen and posture, and nothing happens, and the other is when a talker meets a fighter. Fighters don't talk. They wait. They dont want to fight. They will fight only if provoked beyond reconciliation.
