First of all be sure you have login your adobe creative cloud account. May be you have installed pirated adobe XD

how add border gradient in xd?

Not possible yet directly but for example if you want to add border gradient on a circle you can add copy of circle behind original circle, back side circle should be a bit larger and now add gradient to the back side circle. It will looks like border gradient. But remember these kind of thing comes in graphics designing so you have to use graphics designing software for this.
