Sir can u please explain a question g(x+g(y)+xg(y))= y+ g(x)+yg(x) for all x and y in their domain. 1. A non polynomial solution of g has domain? 2.total no. Of function g satisfying functional relationship are?
@gtimeducation
@gtimeducation 6 жыл бұрын
Put x = 0, we get g(g(y)) = y + g(0) + yg(0). Not put x = y = 0 we get g(g(0))= g(0). So, g(0) = 0. So, we have g(g(y)) = y. That means function g(x) is such that it is inverse of itself. There can be infinite such functions, like g(x) = x, 1/x, (1- x)/(1 + x) and many more. Domain of the function depends on which function we are choosing.

Why 1/√2 - tends to -infinity? In last question 28:02
@gtimeducation
@gtimeducation 6 жыл бұрын
we f(x) = log(sqrt( 1- x^2) - x). When x -> (1/√2)-, i.e. when x is very close to 1/√2 but slightly less then 1/√2., sqrt(1 - x^2) tends to 1/√2 but slightly greater than 1/√2 and then we subtract (1/√2)-. So, the difference approaches to 0+. When argument of log is 0+, the value of log approaches to -infinity. Check the nature of the log function

Dear Mr ghanshyam, 1. In jee 2013 question, you need ""points"" of local max/min . You need not find f value for graph. 2. Moreover, you say in the end you have to draw 5 graphs ?? 3. a =|x| , b=|x+2| . a+b - |a-b| is question. For a >,= b, f=2b. For a
