So it's basically like dashline cutting. For those normal cheap cutters.

So on this you would want to do #2 so that you don't have to scroll so much on the vinyl there. It's how i do it. Just keeps it closer to the crop marks.

Where did you order your 60 degree blades!? Plz Ty!

I ordered this kit just for the 60 degree blades. I could not find a set of just 60 degrees by itself. CB09 CB09U Graphtec Blade Holder with 15pcs Vinyl Cutter Plotter Cutting Blades 30/45/ 60 Degree a.co/d/9DJvPyH

@@mikesstickersBe wary of aftermarket stuff.. I have a pile of 60 deg blades I wont use anymore and aftermarket blade holder.. I was getting horrible cuts, went back to graphtec and got a new 60 deg blade and blue tip holder and back to mint.. just saying if you have an issue you cant find.. this where the solution may be!

Sorry, may I inquire about something? I noticed the blade number "cb09u+0" on your screen. Are these blades not the standard factory-supplied ones that come with the Cutter plotter? When I received my Graphtec CE 7000, it came with blades that have the same code 'cb09u+0', and the manufacturer tells me that they are 45 degrees. By the way, thanks for your tutorial video! 🤗🤗🤗

I’m using 60 degree blades for the perf cuts & the 45 degree blade for contour cuts. The 60 degree blades & holder are a cheap $15 kit from Amazon.

Oh, that's interesting! Are you working with blades of 1.5mm or 0.9mm thickness? My supplier recommended purchasing the 'red cap' blade holder with 1.5mm/60^ 'cb15u-k30-5' blades. As I'm relatively new to the realm of cutting plotters and vinyls, I'm unsure if these blades are suitable for my needs. Hence, I'm seeking your advice on this matter.@@mikesstickers

mine is doing the same thing vinyl doesn't lay flat it bowes causing the blade too glid transitioning thru the cuts did u ever fix that problem i thought this would have a suction thing that held the vynil down like the bn20
@mikesstickers3 ай бұрын
@@Statikleoscamming yes, someone told me about a setting that pulls the blade up off the material before moving to the next design. I don’t remember exactly how to do it but someone on the Facebook group told me how to do it. In addition to that I also found a 3D printed guide that holds the material flat in the middle of the cutter. It’s a very simple device that someone sells on Etsy. I’ll see if I can find it.
@mikesstickers3 ай бұрын
@@Statikleoscamming here is the 3D printed push arm. For my 24” cutter I only needed 1 of these to add to the middle. I think this device helps the accuracy of the cuts in general. The real fix for the scratching of the vinyl was the setting to raise the blade between cuts. www.etsy.com/listing/1240449602/graphtec-push-arm-v21-new-and-improved
