At the beginning of the match my opponent was nearly disqualified for jumping guard which is against the rules at white belt. After a brief conversation the referee allowed the match to continue. I’m glad he did because she was pretty tough and I learned a lot from this one.
This is the quarter-final match of a Grappling Industries competition I entered in May 2024. I won the match via points.
There were four of us within my bracket (No Gi Adult Female White Belt 145lbs).
