@@Makaveli_93 it would take 3 weeks from a few days ago to recover from his knee surgery. So he would maybe be back for Wimbledon but even then he hasnt been playing his best this year and his focus is mainly on the Olympics anyway this year

A meniscus tear sure, it'll heal after a month from surgery, but it's the rehab, the mental battle, the uncertainty of you injuring yourself again, the olympics (which will he prioritize), and he knows he's getting old. I'm sure he'll be physically recovered by Wimby but will he be there 100%? I doubt it.

@@elijah.espinoit doesn’t add up. To be ready for a meaningful Wimbledon campaign, he’d have to be hitting balls on the grass court “yesterday”. So it’s not just about the knee being ok. It’s about being ok to get some work done beforehand, too. Unless he feels he has a real chance to lift the trophy, the transition from clay to grass and back to clay for the Olympics is just not worth it. Plain and simple. And I’m stating this fully aware that Novak can beat most of the field “on one leg and with half a brain” in Wimbledon. This is a slam or bust time in his career. As things stand at the moment, this Wimbledon is a bust for Novak.

I'm surprised there were no Bublik predictions (besides the underhand aces). His game is very well-suited for grass. He won Halle last year, got to R4 at Wimbledon (losing a tense 5-set match to Rublev) and is at his all-time highest ranking, finally taking the game more seriously. Grass has also been his best surface in the last 3 years. He is too volatile to ever be a sure thing, but I'm quite sure he will have one of the best grasscourt seasons and possibly (pending draw) finally make a Wimbledon QF.

these seem very accurate so far, with matteo berretini being in good shape as now hes in the finals of the stuttgart open against draper, who was also mentioned in this video for having a good grass season. as to the sebastian korda reference, seens to be going great as well as he has yet to lose a set in his first tournament on grass and will be playing against alex de minaur in just a few hours in the finals. very excited for what comes up at queens and wimbledon and hopefully novak can shine through his undermining season thus far.
