Grass Flap re-engineer|Making a great product even better

In this video, I will show you what happened to my Grass Flap that almost cost me some big buck and could have put someone in the hospital. To make sure it never happens again I will re-engineer the blocker with steel.

You're right, but they make it from UHMW because anyone can cut and bend it (jigsaw and heat). Not so with steel. What they should do is make them steel and pre-fit rather than a one size fits all setup. For $300+, the customer shouldn't have to do fabrication on it.

They make stainless steel door kick guards that may work well and be ....... stainless. Love the idea and I may just do the same except outta stainless. Thanks for the tip.

the problem now is you need a small angle iron just above the deck lengthwise. when you operate with the door partially open it blows grass right up at you. the angle iron (or small sheet metal angle) would prevent that. otherwise nice job.

Nice work I have the exact machine but I use the mulch kit can you mulch in Georgia like we do in Florida

Thanks! I don't want to have the mulch kit on since I may need to remove it for an overgrown yard. I love the flap since I can adjust it in 1/2 second.
