Holy Cow!!! Molly is definitely in the big league now, including in the eyes of other world class players. What really gets me is how effortlessly she shreds... smiling as if it's just a lark in the park... all the while playing the most insane licks. ;)

This is the best playing I’ve seen from Tommy in years. He is on fire in this clip. I think he must be super jazzed by playing with a young talent who can keep up with him and even throw out a few licks that would challenge him. Amazing performances from both of them.

I've seen this in both Billy Strings and Tommy, when playing with her they get big old grins and enjoy watching her just crush the instrument. It's a good time to be a fan of amazing picking. We've got a number of greats around right now. =)

Tommy just has the feel like nobody has! His playing keeps me interested the most. This is not a put down on Molly, cause she is just an incredible player too and very young. I can only imagine how great she will be in the years to come! This was a delight to see!

What a great fun moment! Two of my favorite acoustic players. Love the way they competed but supported each other at the same time. I don't think you could find a mean bone in either one of them. Both were great with Tommy being the showman that he is and playing to the crowd with flashy licks but I would have to say that Molly was probably the best on this one due to her familiarity with the material. Kudos to Tommy though for never turning down the chance to play with a great guitar player no matter what the genre or song. The man has been doing it so long he can do anything.

I've always been impressed and fascinated by Molly's playing. However, every time I saw her, she seemed to be extremely intense and nervous. As for this performance...WOW!!! She's relaxed, really appears to be enjoying herself, and it translates in her performance. This is the best I've ever heard her play. Everything just flowed and she made it look effortless. That's the sign of greatness attained through talent and a lot of hard work.

*WOW* , some of Tommy's phrases man, they go right out there and syncopated - you think *_"how are they ever going to straighten up and get home"_* - and then *Pow!* - the master plan of the phrase is revealed and everyone's delighted to be blow away, including the great Molly. How come Tommy can do almost everyone else's specialisms better than they can? - for me that's what makes him the finest ever.

One of the best things about bluegrass is watching musicians smile at each other. It’s just an infinitely inventive genre with an infinite amount of talent. I genuinely love punk, blues, jazz, old country, even metal. But it ain’t bluegrass.
