The people, through representation, are the check on the FBI whether it be classified or not. Classified documents should still have direct unredacted oversight by the peoples' representation in any and full capacity. While representation with proper clearances MUST be able to see these documents in full, they also should possess the capability of lowering classifications and redactions for public viewing, the public should also have access to redacted forms of these very same documents should the representatives find the info too sensitive for public viewing for obvious reasons. Unclassified documents or documents that are not sensitive enough to merit some form of intelligence sensitivity or secret or confidential classification should ALL be accessible to the public fully unredacted. After all, these agencies, organizations, and bureaus work for us (We the People), not the other way around. It's damn time we get this untwisted because, it is at the moment very twisted and upside-down.

If they are unclassified that means they are viewable to all. Seeing that the people of this nation pay for ALL government documents they ARE inherently owned by the people and not the government and therefore the peoples' to be seen on demand. The politicians, agencies, bureaus, etc. of this government own nothing, at all, whatsoever. The people own it ALL. Everything from a nuclear submarine down to a misshapen paperclip on some politicians' desk. There is no reason to ask for unclassified documents, only the DEMAND that they be handed over without even question, and then that demand be obeyed immediately. This should especially be so for the House, as they are the governmental body closest to the people in directly representing them and the easiest way to make any and all document(s) infinitely, widely, and publicly available.
