Great race! Thought the Massey had it on the second run, but you could tell when she started climbing, that Deere powered through amazing! Great stuff, am I starting to turn green?! Still red and blue for me I think....

if it were a dyna 6 box in the massey it would have won no doubt about it, vario's reduce ground speed to increase pulling power while keeping rpm's in a certain power band.

Two great tractors . I would estimate the Massey is standard and 145 is chipped, So should have similar HP

Thats why i hate vario. Ypu lose so much torque. Cant beat powershift

45 hp more than the deere and it still couldn't beat it, just shows how much power is wasted with a IVT box. a JD 6250R with autoquad box would be a serious tool.

How do you know that there 45 hp difference

@@jab3486 the deere is a 145R (145hp standard and the MF is a 7719S (190hp)

@@jab3486 i think there standard but hopefully @GRASSMEN can confirm if there standard or not but if that deere has been given an extra 45-50 horses to at least match the massey then the owner has a lot of faith in the cooling pack. knew a guy who had a JD 7530 chipped to 250 and it kept cooking itself.
