Killen Bros New Massey 8s and Slurry!

We called out to see Adam from Killen Bros Contracting who was out spreading slurry with one of their piping systems! While we were there we heard their new Massey Ferguson 8s was nearby so we couldn't resist going to see it after hearing Adams thoughts on it so far! 😎

Why do manufacturers launch tractors but the most likely gearbox to be ordered aren't available yet? Doesn't make sense to me.

we got 4 VT MF tractors att work and yeah only had problem with one of them where if you use the brakes for ither to long or to hard it will kick in the park brake. if you got a little speed it will only make the sound and you can just quickly jank the hand brake lever to make it stop. but if you are hauling bales like i did and have nothing that actualy keeps them in place on the trailer exept theyr own weight then you don't whana take corners fast so you slow down right. and thats when boom tractor wheels lock up and parking brake engages. luckaly the bales stayed in place the 2x it did happen. otherwise i will say the VT is fine and i love it for field work but when it comes to slow precision driving i kind of hate it. i mean like stop and go kind of deal where you whana creep towards somthing and whana have precision. in those cases i do prefear a real manual with a real clutch so that i got more controll over the movement.
