In the last video we added some go fast parts from 034Motorsport as well as a tune and some sticky Continental tires. Did all of that help our lap time? We went back to our official test track, The FIRM, to find out.

Interesting that there is a 3d printable brake duct solution as opposed to the OEM RS3 brake ducts (Some MK7 would require trimming). Definitely good to have more options as I have read that some owners have had to stock up on them as they would have issues getting damaged from road debris. As for the stock intercooler, the moment you start modifying/tuning it becomes one of the more noticeable bottlenecks. I understand why most people would rather get the downpipe and intake than take apart their front bumper, radiator core (Possible to install without removing radiator), crash bar. Another issue that has happened to a few MK7 owners is fitment issues when replacing the crash bar. Just something to think about if you plan on keeping the GTI closer to a street car. It would be interesting seeing the car on other tracks around the SE like Sebring or Road Atlanta in videos as well.

Great update. But I would argue holding onto 3rd to avoid going into 4th after the kink isn’t necessary, since your power band is poor up top and the DSG shift doesn’t really cost much time. You don’t have significant shift penalties like a manual. May be worth testing.

Great content. I have a dual duty RS3 so I'm doing something similar, just with a kinda different car. Did you do any coding via VCDS or OBD11? It seems like brake setting changes are pretty common for track use. I haven't been able to figure that one out yet.
