god that's terrifying. imagine living a dream where you fend off zombies with your plant friends. i mean, it's a zombie apocalypse, but you have your plants and crazy dave. but then you wake up, and there's nobody. just you. no crazy dave, no plants, no zombies, no giant robot, no shop, nothing. the way this is orchestrated (most notably at 0:33) makes it sound as if you're just wearing a thousand mile stare on your face as the hopeless reality sets in that you're the last person on earth. it's got that major key upbeat-ness from the relief of not living in a literal zombie apocalypse, but there's that diminished chord right after that sounds like you're about to break down crying realizing that there is nothing.

Crazy Dave congrats you for saving a doomed world, but you suddenly realise… what about the people who caused the apocalypse!? Nobody knew. But the most important thing is, you saved a doomed world. *(The earths resetting did that)* and now everything can be normal again… or not.. who knows.

Finally got around to listening to your version! I think it's wonderful. It's very piano-heavy, which isn't a bad thing, I was just expecting a faithful recreation. On the bright side... the world wasn't infested with zombies anymore. Life was good.
