I was there with you guys on the bus to Glenns Falls and it was my 2nd show after 4/11/82, 3 night before and it made a giant impression on me and one of the greatest moments in my life also. Being in the 7th row and seeing Jack Straw open with Bob handing a lyric off to Jerry right in front of me.was magic and eye-opening. Also because the band was late we were all peaking by the time the show started which added to the magic of the show. It was a very personal show in that the band was close to the crowd with us all being on our chairs on the floor reaching for the band. I also had the tape from day one and the China Rider Playing was on side 2 of the tape which made a perfect cassette listen experience. Glenns Falls was magical. I think Bob was a big part of the creativity that night, his jam with Brent at the end of Playing is tremendous. Loved his tone. I can't believe you guys think that's the best Rooster as much as I love it. I have to check out 8/4 and 7/29/82 which I used to think were on par. FYI, This was a pre-Trister era. Great podcast.
