Incredible. Maybe I’m wrong but to me this show is at the amazingly high level as the 5/77 shows but it feels a little more relaxed because they were back home.

This is my favorite He's Gone. Just a real healer. The acapella section with the drums and Jerry on the harmonic pinches, the whole place clapping perfectly...so damn nice.

Phil’s so high on this mix - thanks for sharing :D

I'd say Phil's treble sound was just about always recorded well in Winterland.......its has that warm timber and it leaves room for keith on the left and Bob on the right....

some could argue this was the peak musically sounding era of the dead. there were still lots of great shows after but this year in particular they were firing on all cylinders. was lucky to have seen them a few times around this time sept.76 rochester 77 buffalo 77 seneca fiedlhouse toronto. all those showa were amazing and my first of seeing the dead. i was spoiled. but loved every minute.

And then Jack Straw has that loopy, slow gait. Tennessee is so groovin, I'm guessing the whole show is like this. Fuckin 77.

I found you again Okie. My other channel got terminated thanks to me blowing up at a troll or worse and possibly being hacked. Now I have 5-12 years of music and videos to recover or find new material. Really sucked as I was on vacation in Arizona with almost no music except non-youtoober downloads like 30 Days of the Dead.

Among my favorite play lists of any show I’ve seen or heard. I’ve had “Dead fever,” since my first show at 14 at Radio City. During the acoustic set Jerry blew me away with “Oh, babe, it ain’t no lie...”
