@@thomassullivan9692 Pig Pen used a number of different keyboards, the most commonly used being a Vox & a Hammond B-3, both in recording & performance. Studies have been done identifying the keyboards he used from photos of as many shows as possible, & although many folks are unaware of it, the B-3 was yes a staple of Pig Pen's rig from 1967 on, in alternation with the Vox mainly; perhaps the choice of organ for each show depended on the logistics of moving the B-3 around which could be prohibitive for certain venues etc. Pig Pen purchased his own B-3. Go do your research, & you'll find out which tracks (ex: "Candyman" from Workingman's Dead) & which live shows featured Pig on B-3, it's half or more of his keyboard career, & you can find photos of him playing it. Will try to post a couple links to articles showing all his gear in chronological order, & to listings of shows where he played the Hammond. **YT isn't posting the links... Search "Ron 'Pigpen' McKernan's keyboard gear" & look for a site called Equipboard....
