I've got this on a cassette boot. By far the best most truthful version of this song. Thank you Brent!

Weir wouldn't do justice to this tune. 😂 Brent made this song.

@@fatamorgana4318 I’m obviously talking about when Brent was still around. I wouldn’t want to hear anybody else play it or sing it. I just thought it was a great tune that they could’ve kept playing at least until Brent died.

this is about as good a performance of this song as we ever got, because the band simply weren't rehearsing -- so Brent would just take a shot when Jerry left the stage mid-set, with Phil and Bob keeping up best they could. Too bad, because Brent's really killin' it with his passionate vocals. Occasionally Jerry stayed and played (a highlight of the Greek 7/15/84 show) but alas, not here. One might argue that Brent's songs didn't really fit the vibe, but bands evolve, and Brent helped bring the band into the 80s

Sadly, Jerry would never play this, and they only played it 10 times total.

Not true! Jerry was on stage playing with Brent on 10/12/84, it's incredible! Check it out.

Jerry & Brent were tight, that's why Jer switched sides of the stage IMO. I do believe they spent a lot of time together in hazed filled rooms after tours if you know what I mean...
