My 28th live dead show and 2nd time at Dillon; was there in '72 for the dead as well. It was fkn wonderful. Dosed, as usual, another notch in expanding my heart, mind & soul with the help of music and community. I was so extremely lucky. Wonderful detail & sonics on this recording; just wow. And now, it's announced to be reissued on vinyl OMG. I have it on CD, but preordered the vinyl and can't wait. No one should ever take the fact they recorded all of this, the fact recording technology even exists at all, for granted. It's a genuine time machine and gift. Love is love and not fade away.

I saw them in '74 with this WALL OF SOUND! But in MAY in Santa Barbara two months earlier. Jerry was much cleaner. But at the end of the show people wouldn't leave, so Jerry come back out and played us down all by himself. Never saw that again, ever! He knew we were all too high to go anywhere. He really cared! I saw rainbows coming from the speakers. Orange Sunshine was the best acid i ever took.

Love this. Eyes is my favorite Dead tune of all time. I like when they have a lot of time to explore the music. Just pure jamming and noodling. The Dead at their best. Thanx for posting this.

That's extremely generous to offer to pass it on for us. Thank you I have no request, I only wanted to point out the kindness in that offer. Somewhat sadly, It's usually rare behavior I point out. Which is true also in this case.

Stella Blue is yer favorite dead song. Admit it. I'LL also except Brown Eyed Women. Eyes is too obvious. Just kidding. This song changed me for life. First time l saw the Grateful Dead movie I was hooked. 1986. Blown away. What a band.

I was there. Very young. And Jerry had no beard.

Jerry had no beard but Phil had a thick beard. No Mickey, just Billy.

Sometimes I wonder whether after 1976 the band would ever secretly practice without Mickey for both nostalgia sake and to remind themselves of what heights they were capable of.

I like billy on his own. Exceptional drummer. Sshhhh, don't tell anyone.

They should of let Mickey lay out or play percussion during the jams.

Why is Jerry panned HARD left? I'd like that guitar piped some in both ears, even if imaged slightly left... (Headphones)

That's where he was standing. And he had his own set of amps and speakers in the Wall of Sound.
