82 a very underrated year. Just 1 show for me. Philly. 81-83 was a transition period. Then 84 happened. Just getting into 82. Solid playing. Thanks

🥵 Scorching hot show & day- 1st set, first hour(!) of 2nd are 💎amazing… then the Harley rolls into the Phil Zone, LOUD throttle, the adrenaline explodes 💣 wild Space, a very lit Lesh rrrrumbles into The Other One, show hits peak after peak… Phil stomps the Satisfaction intro, and Brokedown sends us home. Bay Area Prankster Magic 🚂 🚀💧

Grate choice! Grate show! 82 has always seemed, to me at least, a year that gets lost through basis of comparisons by so many. Funny little anomaly.

Ah, The Greek Theater at UC Berkeley, such a wonderful place for a GD concert. They started playing three day sets of concerts in 1981 and kept coming back each year for several years. Thanks for posting DayJob, hopefully 5/21/1982 will follow shortly. As I was there all three days, I’m going to wait and listen to the three shows in order, reminiscing that great time in my life.

If u want to learn how to play like Weir listen to this show on repeat for a year locked in your room with a guitar. Grateful for your choice mix.

Totally! It's pretty rare to hear Bobby so far up in the mix for an 80s show, and his playing is amazing.

Yes bro. Love his harmonics here. TLEO is a great example of Bobby filling spaces.

Talk about a wish list of a second set… if the first set wasnt bookended with Shakedown and Let it Grow, this would be one lop-sided, backend heavy show. Not a lot missing from theSecond Set of Deadhead fantasy. If I could only time travel to all the shows they played at one particular venue, I think it would have to be the Greek. For JGB, i’d take all the Warfield shows. Amazing show n quality! Ty.

Wow, that one was a mind ripper. I suspect that they had a little help from their friends that evening.
