You don’t have to miss it, cause it’s always on KZbin and in your heart. More correctly, “in” your brain cells for as long as those work & you find Jerry useful to your happiness - we are our brain and our brain is us - but that’s less groovy maybe. Johnny d'Fonseca jr. on drums. He was only about 20 years old at the time. Garcia gave him his shot and he held his own. Sadly, he died in auto accident shortly after this. He's the drummer on the infamous After Midnight>Eleanor Rigby jam from 2/2/80

I believe In Simple Twist of Fate ....been through it ....yea ,,,, but got through it ... he didnt ....that simple twist of fate killed him,,, he committed suicide ..never wished it upon him ... watch out for that simple twist of fate .... 9 years since he died from That Simple Twist Of Fate ....

I think the pressure of his fans treating him like the god he didn't want to be was a terrible influence on him. But when you listen to perfomances like this, it's not hard to understand why people would have such religious like experiences.
