We ran into Matthew Perry when the Orchard Hardware store still existed in Burbank. He talked to us for about a half hour after my husband complimented him on his car. He looked at the time a little sad so now I’m glad we had the opportunity to have that moment with him in the parking lot of the store. We recognized him right away and just talked about cars at that moment. Thank you Jordan for the update. RIP Matthew Perry. ❤🙏💐🌟

✨So many times you have been here. Each time it is solemnly beautiful. As a late 90’s teen I liked F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I also enjoyed the movie Fools Rush In too. His book is raw and heartbreaking. I listened to the audiobook with him narrating. I can’t imagine that wild cycle of fame and addiction. No one could understand unless they had been through that themselves. I see the vulnerability in us as humans. I try to have compassion even when I can’t relate or understand. Thank you Jordan for this! ~Love&Light♥️C. 🕊️May Matthew rest in eternal peace.

Thank You Jordan for doing this Vlog on Matthew and how long his addiction had lasted! On my father’s side … he … his dad and his grandfather all suffered a long time with alcoholism … thankfully my dad and his father lived … gave their life to Christ and were cured! Of Course … they are called Recovering Alcohol’s … as one drink it could start all over again! My dad nearly died … but brought him back from the brink of death … but doctor said that (1) one drink you will die! Was the truth! My Mom and Dad remarried … and I was able to get 25 more years … with him in my life! And … my grandfather was instrumental in helping him to recover! My son … had it on both sides of the family! But … he had and has a praying Momma …. boy did I pray and put it into the Lord’s Hands … he is now sober for three years! Thank You Jesus! And … Thank You Jordan for doing this Vlog on sweet Matthew! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️🫶🏻🫶🏻

Didn't watch the show. Had stopped watching tv pretty much by this time. However, knew all the characters and who played them because of how popular the show was. Oh, I was in an elevator with him once. I did not know who he was, but knew he was an actor because he looked so good. Practically glowing - lol. He was very polite, allowing me to enter the elevator before him, etc. When we changed elevators someone asked him what he was doing there and he said he was being interviewed. That's when it dawned on me who he was. I was impressed by his gentlemanly manner so it was a good encounter. Sad he died so young.
@a.azazagoth54133 ай бұрын
The People who were around him at the end were terrible. They took advantage of a desperate man who was out of his depth with his addiction. The person who actually injected him should go to prison. Thanks for the video about a kind yet very troubled guy. He had a person selling him massive amounts of k from a scumbag. His house keeper introduced them and he was paying tons of money. The last time the guy injected him Mathew asked for one to “Take him to the next stratosphere”. It’s so sad.

I was at work at my second job at McDonalds, (single mom and the economy SUCKS lol) my you g adult son sent me a text I got while on my break and I came back inside the restaurant with tears staining my face, shift manager sees me and asks WHATS WRONG?? I tell her and she let out a huge gasp and a NO! and went to the office to check her phone to confirm it, then she started to cry, we're the same age and we knew Matthew since long before Friends, we all grew up with him, he was far too young and deserved a longer life but what life he had had an impact and I hope his message continues to have one

I didn't read his book, but I did listen to the audio book of it. It was both good and eerie to hear him read his own book, I listened to it shortly after he passed. It hurt to hear how much pain he must've been in to numb himself with these different substances that ultimately, with the help of people who were supposed to look after him, cause his demise. Now that we know why we lost him and the names of those people who are responsible, maybe now we can let his soul rest. Friends was my 2nd fav sitcom(Roseanne being first). Matthew is the friend I wish I had. I wish somehow I could've helped. I honor him in my ofrenda that I keep up all year. Rest in paradise, Mattman.

Matthew had his own sitcom around circa 1991 or 1992. It only lasted one season, but the premise was this guy in his late teens/ early 20's who still lived at home. His 30 something sister gets divorced and moves back in with her 2 kids. The actress who played his sister was Corinne from Soap. He was very funny in it and i hated when it got canceled. when I saw he would be on Friends, I knew it would be good. Of course, I remembered Courtny Cox from Family Ties, Alex's girlfriend Lauren after Ellen left, and Lisa Kudrow the dingy waitress from Mad about You. The others I had no idea who they were, even though I read later David Schimmer was on The Wonder Years as the big sis's live-in boyfriend, I did not recognize him.

Terrific comedic actor, and handsome, too! Read his book, people always think because actors are famous, their world should be total in check, always the opposite, everyone loved him, and he was always searching for the why and for himself- I believe from everything that's been out there, he was on the path were he was doing his best and sometimes when your heart and soul are genuine, people take full advantage of this. Besides all the theories out there, there's a lot of truths being told out there, so we will see what will be coming in the future. Taken too young, and what talent! Thank you for the vlog Jordan.

I know Matthew is dead so won’t now care but if you read his book he said that he always had to have a view. But he is interred in the bottom of the wall (no view) and as such anyone can desecrate his grave as they have done with kisses and lipstick marks. I also notice there is an opening in the roof so what happens when it rains, does the whole area get flooded. I really hope he isn’t in the bottom crypt and has actually been buried somewhere else where he can’t be disturbed.❤
