Gravedancer - In The Pines

Baker has been one of my biggest supporters since I started this project and has been instrumental in helping me develop The Depression Sessions since we were introduced to each other a couple of years ago by a mutual friend who lives 4000 miles away from us both. A couple of weeks ago I was listening to Leadbelly and I couldn't help but think that there was one person I knew who's distinctive vocal style would suit that song more than anyone else I knew. When we next saw each other I suggested it to him, and a week after that we headed into these spooky pine woodlands and created this for the archives. Although Lead Belly did a version in the 1940's, it's a traditional Appalachian folk song from the late 1800's!
