2024 here. I bought this album on cassette the day it dropped in my hometown at exclusive company. I miss those days. Nothing will ever compare to the 92-97 hip hop scene. The best ever ever hip hop came from those years. Don't argue with me lol. There are many reasons these years churned out the fire that it did. The new tech in music making allowed for certain things to be done in hip hop that could not be done before and the originals started mastering the equipment from the jump and we started hearing that underground boom bap sound. Oh the nostalgia. My Sony walkman cassette studied soooo much early nineties hip hop its glory. And the difference constantly listening to music through headphones makes for a more in depth experience. My roots and knowledge is deep. Gravediggaz will always be my top favorite. Salute 🙌

Rip to my friend Josh that died last weekend. Back in the late 90s we should spend our Friday nights rolling around listening to this, going to pizza Hut & eating a Big New Yorker, smoking swisher wood tips, and drinking 5 o'clock gin. It sounds stupid now but I miss those days and miss him. By the way great video.

It doesn't sound stupid at all. Keep remembering your boy. It keeps him alive. Trust me, my childhood friend from literally 4years old died from an overdose that was planned with a note and everything. He was an amazing guitar player, much better than I was and if he was here still we'd be rich. He had that much talent. He played everything. Piano, drums, guitar was his main, obv bass, production, our first 3 tracks on our cd were literally written by just him and a solo by me. That's insane. At 16 he wrote an entire song, every instrument, even lyrics and where they're go.....I miss him to this day I'm old now man .....(Oct, ,89"), and I feel older if ya know what I mean. The fellow addicts know lol. Anyways

[Chorus: KRS-One] Suicide it's a suicide, biddy bye bye Suicide it's a suicide Suicide it's a suicide, biddy bye bye Suicide it's a suicide [Verse 1: Frukwan/Gatekeeper] So you wanna die, commit suicide Dial 1-800-Cyanide line Far as life, yo, it ain't worth it Put a rope around your neck and jerk it The trick didn't work Your life was fucked up from the first day of birth After watching Jackie Gleason, walk into a precinct Gun down the captain for no fucking reason And get some LSD or a drink from the bar Get behind your wheel and crash the car Like Desert Storm, got bombs for the war Confront an alligator, let it eat ya raw Back to the function, riding the caboose to hell BZZZZZT touched the third rail You fucked up chicken, now you just got fried Cause it's a suicide [Chorus: KRS-One] Suicide it's a suicide, biddy bye bye Suicide it's a suicide Suicide it's a suicide, biddy bye bye Suicide it's a suicide [Verse 2: Too Poetic/Grym Reaper] Hey, you, little rich kid, what's your beef? Come and tell the Grym Reaper all of your grief You asked for a Benz and you only got a Jeep Your pop's got ends, but yo, he's mad cheap Maybe you're a bastard child, you think Mom and Dad are white and you're dark as ink Maybe you're Sicilian with a tan But you hate lasagna and the pizza man Now you stand on the Gravedigga plot and You're singing the blues about the rough life you've got (Not!) You don't wanna live no more I guess you're really ready for the graveyard tour When you get home, just seal up your windows and you doors Turn your oven on high for about four hours Light you a blunt, kiss your ass goodbye You gassed yourself, 'cause it's a suicide [Chorus: KRS-One] Suicide it's a suicide, biddy bye bye Suicide it's a suicide Suicide it's a suicide, biddy bye bye Suicide it's a suicide [Interlude: Scott (the Moleman) Harding] Yep, I've said it before and I'll say it again Life moves pretty fast If you don't stop and look around every once in a while You could miss it [Verse 3: RZA/RZArector] Six fucking devils stepped up playing brave, God Had the fucking nerve to try and enter my graveyard I'm the Rzarector, be my sacrifice Commit suicide and I'll bring you back to life The first was convinced, stuck a water hose in his mouth At full blast so his head can explode Second one said, "Hmmmm, that's good but I can top it!" Put a axe up to his head and then he chopped it Blood shot out in every direction The rest didn't know what to do, I made suggestions Put a slug in your mug; overdose on a drug Wet your hand, stick a knife in the plug Or be like Richard Pryor, set your balls on fire Better yet, go hang yourself with a barbed wire Three and Four fell deep into the spell and Ran to the zoo, locked themselves in the lion's den Number Five said, "It ain't worth being alive!" Smoked a dust joint, mixed it with cyanide The only one who escaped was Number Six He went home, sat in the tub, and slit his wrists Yeah, more graves to dig, goodbye There's no need to cry... 'cause we all die

That will not help anyone who out of own choices is suffering, theyre not suffering because they are mad they didnt get a lambo, they are depressed because its easy to forget how blessed you are when youve never been shown the lack of such blessings. alot of people like me grow up all alone not realizing they are blessed from all sides and it is up to them to make use out of the tools theyre given, wether theyre bullied or not. it is not up to our surroundings to live life to the fullest or not, we cant keep our happiness dependant on others, and if someone is preventing it, we must try to take action

This video did the song justice... I thought this was the official music video for it and it took me a while before I realized it wasn't; so great job on it, really had that 90s feeling!

Classic Rza. Loved when he was on this level working with Gravediggaz and Wu. They called this style horrorcore hip hop. Them and Dr Octagon lol

The video is a great representation of depression, it's like costantly being reminded of how worthless you feel and nobody but you can see it like in the begining where you can see a man talking to the jumper and giving him a bottle, but when we see it from another perspective he is alone
@korodymatyas4 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. This song makes fun of suicide and life at the same time. Depression is no fun.

I weirdly like how gleeful he sounds in the refrain saying "Suicide, it's a suicide", it's disturbing, coupled with how chill this song sounds with such a theme. Amazing job on the video, I can't believe this is not official!

Is it me or did RZA steal the show lyrically on all the tracks? I know,he was the mastermind and producer behind this project but lyrically he was deadly.
@BizzTheFunk8 жыл бұрын
+Henny Lopez RZA is better known for his beats, but the dude can bust some crazy fucking rhymes right? Thats why he's my favorite producer of all time.. He has great versatility
@hennylo688 жыл бұрын
AreYouJokinen Word, he to me is easily the best producer/rapper of all time. People always mentioned Dre or even Kanye. But Dre doesn't write his rhymes so how can he be up there, and Kanye I'm not convinced he writes his either. Rza is the best at that, Havoc also belongs on that list also.
@BizzTheFunk8 жыл бұрын
+Henny Lopez Most def man. RZA is out of all who you listed the most underrated amongst Havoc, MF Doom, even Erick Sermon. Real shit like this doesnt get the recognition it deserves!
@hennylo688 жыл бұрын
AreYouJokinen Word, E-Double belongs up there. Pete Rock, Lord Finesse, Diamond D etc. But yep RZA is the best out of all the producer/rappers.
