Agreed, but you have to think RZA had a lot of influence considering how much production work he put in all the Wu-Tang oriented releases.

Opinion for sure! But plz listen to more RZA before making such an outlandish claim! There’s absolutely nothing wrong with saying “this is my favorite RZA verse of all time! “Killa Hill Niggaz off of Cypress Hill lll Temples of Boom any one?? Now lyrically I don’t think anyone could argue with the statement that that is a top 10 RZA verse for sure! However it happens to be my personal favorite! Damn SONshit goez hard Brah! Matter fact that verse is so fucking sick that hip-hop historians still have debates and arguments over exactly what was said in those lyrics! RZA had just gotten his grill with the vampire teeth and some of the verses could be called the closest thing to mumble rap from the 90s LOL no disrespect to Bobby digital He a god fa’reeeeLz folx!! But if you’re Wu-Tang fan or a RZAfan on any level, you can totally hear him dragging his S’s and fumbling over any word more’n two syllables, ya dig!! I think it’s rad,cuz it was like a Handicap, that he had to overcome and it’s like he flipped it and made it work for him! I mean back then he was barely 20 years old, and he was already a fucking musical genius! Look at the type of shit he’s up to today! He stays in the shadows And only ever comes out when it’s a good/legit reason to! And he doesn’t participate in anything whack! If it even has a minor smell of wackiness he’s got the money, he can afford to walk away! Matter-of-fact the one thing she can’t afford is to be involved in some wackness! I’m sure he has more money than he or his family could spend into lifetimes, but to someone like him reputation is everything! He can’t be fucking around with NO WHACK NONSENSE! Love You RZA👉🤛🏿 Ps RTJxRZA Wud be, beyond epic, but u know dat al’lreddy! U a PROPHET My dude! Ge it bruv

It's not a wu tang beat. Prince Paul produced this joint. Gravediggaz (especially the first album) is a Prince Paul led and produced project. This particular track sounds more De La Soul or Tribe style than wu.

@@shinbakihanma2749 I mean... people can be forgiven for thinking it's a RZA joint. Wouldn't sound entirely out of place on 36 Chambers, would it? Darker than the general sound of Tribe or De La's earlier stuff..

@@dustybeijing Nah, they can't. This particular beat sounds kinda like Wu, but only because of the dark ambient sounds. Listen, to the drums and cadence and samples, and It's very De La and Tribe or overall Native Tongues sounding in essence, though admittedly more aggressive and somewhat warped. This track probably wouldn't sound too out of place on 36 Chambers, but that's only because Prince Paul and RZA have very similar production sensibilities. Prince Paul mentored RZA on certain aspects of production before the Wu ever debuted, and if you know their history, RZA pretty much just took what he learned and delved deeper into the darkside of production. I've always considered RZA the darker and more warped counterpart to Prince Paul, from a production standpoint. The very nature of the Gravediggaz project lends itself more to a darker tone, as well as expertly melding the unique production vibes of stetasonic and wu tang into a cohesive whole. Everyone automatically lumped Gravediggaz in the Wu Tang camp, solely due to RZA's involvement in the group. With the exception of a handful of tracks (which did have a somewhat Wu-ish vibe), most of the first album sounded like a somewhat warped, darker take on Native Tongues Posse production totally lacking a Wu sound.
