Yes, the governor rod working the bell-crank will wear them out over time. As the throttle shaft bushings will wear also. Great video, and presentation!

Just drill out threaded mistake with 5/16" drill now press in oversize 5/16" bushing with corresponding undersize throttle shaft bore. If you can't find oversized bushing just "tin" brass bushing and press that in. Ream bore to size

Great job I been studying all your videos on this tractor since I just got one. Do you wanna sell that tool you made?

I no longer have the tractor. If I still have the tool, you can have it. My contact info is in the Channel "About Us" tab

dang I was hoping to see how the other side went. the throttle shaft seal retainer I have looks like it's too big to fit in there (basically the "cap" on the side the shaft has to go through).

From what I recall it was the same on the other side. When in doubt, call Richards and ask them.

Rarely do I actually watch a 20 minute video but I couldn't make myself fast forward. If I can't be at my bench tinkering, watching someone else is the next best thing. I show all my screw ups for the same reason. It might help the next guy avoid making the same mistake. Couldn't finish the tree. I'm completely out of air and steam. I'll finish tomorrow and get home in the afternoon.

+BCtruck, rebuild, repair, repurpose I told you I thought I screwed that carb up. I laugh every time I watch the very last clip of this video. Thanks for hanging in there.
