You should hear him sing Joga by Bjork. It doesn't have an official video, but you can find a fan recording of it. Mitch sang that and another song called Age at a Project Heal event. I highly recommend them.

I love this track because it's in Mitch's lower register - even though I am absolutely guilty of loving his high(est) register like everyone else, I think it's stunning, but I've seen a few comments from Mitch where he mentions that he actually doesn't enjoy singing high all that much. (Not sure if that is because it takes a toll on his voice or whether he just likes the sound/feel of his lower register.) I'll listen to him however he wants to sing - his voice is just magical. Edit: Plus I'm glad you didn't have to run through a wall Shawn !

That description haha! You get lost in Mitch's voice just like you do Avi but in a different way. Avi's voice soothes me down to my soul; Mitch warms my heart in this one. No crazy Mitch yet. There will be plenty of time and videos for that! I'll come to your channel first to cover Mitch's new album as well as the new PTX album! There are little Easter eggs the guys have dropped that give you clues into what the album may entail. I try not to look into that too much as I want to be surprised and blown away as I always am when I experience new music from them! Your channel is quickly becoming my favorite (if you couldn't tell from the amount of comments I leave 😅 sorry not sorry). I'll check back in tomorrow night to see what new stuff you have! I imagine it was nice at least not to have to think about another "weekly" obsession today :D. Mitch's album does not have a name yet. MG1 just means Mitch Grassi 1, meaning it will be his first solo album. Though with how often we refer to it by that name, he might as well just call it that :D. We all hope it'll happen soon, but I don't think he said anything in particular yet. He just teases us all the time :D. The PTX original album should come out either this year or the next if there are postpones due to the pandemic. Last thing I've heard it was in post-production. They should also be releasing the single, Happy Now, #soon? :D Though if the release of the album is postponed they might be holding onto it to release it closer to the date, idk.

srry.. revisiting and realized I didn't talk long enough the first time if that's possible. If I remember right this song came out during the AIDS epidemic at its height and there was also a lot of violence and even killing of people in the LGTBQ+ community and that was what this song was about. All of the people who were killed or who were dying because of their sexual orientation or what gender they identified with. As Scott said in a Superfruit video 2 Mitch when he was wondering why he used to sing so low was "maybe it's because you were a little gay boy growing up in Texas?" Unfortunately that's a terrifying state to have been 15 years old coming out as gay at that time. People were killed and I remember it. I have no idea what present day sentiments in that area are but at the time this song was out it was a big protest for gay rights and to find a treatment and cure for AIDS. The original artist music video for this is terrifying and heartbreaking. This is just the kind of song that Mitch would want to cover he is very outspoken about anybody being treated unjustly. And crazy Mitch has quite recently asked on social media if he can please quit singing high notes yet? . Wait until you hear what they did to him in their cover of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King! I say that with an LOL tone of voice, and it was Scott's idea to add yet another key change and take it up a notch so that poor Mitch had to hit the stratosphere and exit Earth's gravitational pull for the notes he ended up singing. They uploaded a bit of an Arrangement session for "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" when Scott asked that question about adding another key change to it in an episode of PTXperience that I believe they have on IGTV? Since you're on Instagram you should check out pentatonix's uploaded videos like that because they're all behind the scenes and they're very short because of the limits of IGTV It was quite funny because Mitch started making strained croaking frog noises like they were killing his voice as he was singing. and I believe when Scott suggested that before they actually practiced it Mitch said "oh sure why not?"
