I finished a foundation this week, and it was one of those that I thought I would run through much faster than I actually did, so I had 3 backups. I am so close to finishing a lip liner, but it seems to always still be able to fit in the sharpener. I have been struggling with the same bronzer for the last 2 and a half years, and I barely seem to be able see the dip. I did have to toss a blush because it was too hard pressed, and I couldn't repress it successfully. I have a huge pan in the one neutral crease shade I store in the palette with my special shades from Devinah and Looxi, and it is widening every time I use it. I have used up at least half of my elf putty bronzer, which I use every time I do my makeup for filming or theater. And I have an illuminating primer that I have had for a few years that I know will go bad before I ever use it up, because I use it every time I do my makeup and I still have barely gone through half the bottle. And I have a backup. *facepalm* I did have to declutter my last black liquid liner because it exploded all over when I tried to use it. I am more than halfway through my current concealer, and hopefully I refrain from buying any more until I run through the ones I already have. Even with doing my makeup more often and focusing on one product in each category at a time, it still seems to take so long to run through my products. I can't believe I bought so much, thinking I would run out. Well, it is certainly in the back of my head whenever I find myself shopping for things I already have several times over and that will go bad before I have a chance to use it.

It is SHOCKING how long it takes to get through some products, especially compared to how long we think it will take! But wow three foundation backups - that is a lot!

@@laralikesmascara it was a BB cream from Miss A that I love, and they are $1 each and were having trouble keeping them in stock and shipping in 2020 was over a month. I am doing my best to run through them, but chances are they will go bad before I do.

Great update! And you’re absolutely right with decluttering the products that don’t work for you or you don’t like at all. There’s no point in forcing yourself to use them if you can’t find a way to enjoy it. All passion for panning aside, makeup should still be fun! 🥰

With that physicians formula blush/bronzer you might need a stiffer, more dense brush with it. Glad you're loving the eggplant eyeliner. :)

I have been using a makeup sponge for oil blotting. The Real Techniques one works great for that!

Huh! Do you also use it for makeup or you have a separate one for that?

@@laralikesmascara It is not one that I use for foundation or concealer, it is separate. It works really well and then you can wash it occasionally.

I read six of crows series first and loved it so much I then read shadow and bone series, she also has an adult novel too that's really good called ninth house!

You should Frankenstein the elf and physicians bronzers together! The rubbing alcohol will help with the hard pan and re-sanitize the elf powder. Then if you don’t like it oh well you where going to toss them anyway, and maybe you’ll end up liking the combo!

On the PF Bronzer…try using a damp sponge and use it as a cream bronzer. I did this on a Nabla bronzer and it worked beautifully. Great update!

For the physicians formula blush, I’ve had to use a very dense brush and scrub the product out. You could also crush it up into a loose powder and it works nicely! But will become much more pigmented, and will need a lighter hand

I'm also curious about how it would work as a loose powder! I'm going to try that. Have you also had it a very long time or is the product just always like that?

@@laralikesmascara I had it for a long time, and I don’t remember it not being like that! I really had to scrub it, and then once I got to the end, it was a bunch of loose bits, so I crushed it up and used it as a loose powder- again, it was much more pigmented that way, you could probably even use it as an eyeshadow at that point. I did end up finishing the whole thing :) I have faith you’ll be able to finish it too!

Hey Lara! Great update! I wanted to say, the wand on your silver glitter liner has some ridges? Could that have been for your lashes maybe? Anyway, I totally agree with decluttering anything that doesn’t serve you. .

Maybe the PF Bronzer is just Too old, if it was not like this before, it could be a sign that it had gone bad and you probably should declutter. I personally would not keep it if you think it’s a hassle to use anyways, and you just put it to the side 🤷🏼‍♀️ Glad to see you got tid of the glitter liner also haha, that was way Too old to be used near the eyes imo + you did not seem excited to use it!

I wish I could borrow my mom's 90s clothing! But she's 5 inches shorter than me and 30 pounds lighter 🤣 and she was even smaller back in the 90s. She was excited to give me her wedding shoes and then by age 10, I was already 2-3 shoe sizes bigger than them. Oops.

@@faeriesmak I have some of her blazers bc the oversized look was in back then, and they fit me well as a result. Beautiful wool blazers. They don't make them like that anymore! Lol
