7:54 - the name on the grave has kinda faded but it does mention that whoever was buried there was an officer of the Polish army. Born (or deceased?) on the 23rd of Jan 1858. That's very interesting because Poland was still partitioned by Austria, Russia and Germany at the time, so didn't really have its own army until 1918 so he would have been 60 by then. The accent of the main character sounds a bit German to me. Great video as always though 👌

I'm fascinated by supernatural horror set in, or in close proximity to a densely populated urban area. The way those buildings loom over the cemetery, you have to wonder, would someone be able to catch glimpses of these events unfolding from the mundane comfort of an office or apartment window? Rose Red is another example. Would someone be able to catch a drive-by glance of some figure in a window of the big out-of-place manor as they're making their way through the busy traffic of the freeway? Perhaps someone could see a ghost, demon or other supernatural being taking on a humanoid form without any clue of what they've just darted their eyes across from a distance. There could be places down the block from you with a rich tapestry of dark lore, and perhaps you've seen some of it peripherally, but you might never know. Maybe the things there have seen you.

There is a difference between a coffin and a casket. Coffins are wooden boxes that are made to measure and have the distinct near-diamond shape, which allows a tight fit of the body when the arms are folded over the chest. Meanwhile, a casket is rectangular, made from a variety of materials from wood or plastic to metal, and is upholstered inside. Caskets also have a hinged, bisected top, allowing for viewings, while coffins are generally nailed shut. Speaking as someone who loves graveyard settings (and even almost landed a job as a grave digger), I do honestly appreciate the atmosphere of this game. However, while my opinion has softened a little after seeing several Let's Players cover it, I still find Graveyard Shift to be quite disappointing. The linearity and how the game allows you a little early exploration only to force you on rails for the majority of the story really hurts my appreciation. I think if the anomalies and/or scares were randomised and we had a couple options for endings, the game would be magnitudes better - not to mention more replayable. Still, it seems everyone who plays this game has a different opinion at the end. Most I've seen have been bogged down by disappointment, as my own opinion is, but I've also now seen a more positive take to balance out the few truly negative ones. I'd love to see this game redone with the same atmosphere, but with that much-needed freedom that multiple endings give and the greater suspense that having random events and the ability to explore at any point would give.

I discovered your channel not too long back, while looking at lets plays on the game scanner sombre and seeing if it was worth buying. after that your channel was all over my recommended page and I was getting pretty annoyed to be honest, until I actually started watching them. It's something about your voice. If I'm just playing it as background noise while doing school work or chores, your voice sounds so reassuring. Even at the time of writing this its 4 am but your voice keeps me hooked (I know It's a little weird), along with the way you talk. I feel what you usually commentate is pretty obvious, but obvious in a deep and logical sense. But on closer inspection it's stuff I would have likely missed myself. Almost as hooking as you voice are your videos. I always thought I'd never find a youtuber like you, if I'm being honest. But your videos keep me going. That all may sound weird, but still I think its safe to say you're now my comfort youtuber. Stay creepy and comfy! (sorry if this is hard to read.
