Thanks for commenting (and making). Out of curiosity, what does answering the texts actually do? They seem to imply that a low or negative score will cause potentially fatal events more often (I'm assuming I was negative almost the entire time) but I got so involved in trying to *survive* that I never checked options or experimented because I didn't want to die and go back to the start. It seemed like the bridge was the only checkpoint, but the red lights started after a certain number of deaths, so was there something going on there as well? P.S. Like the other commenter, I also loved the ending!

If you answer the way Davison does like then some negative effect happens. Most changes on death are purely cosmetic so the red lights don't indicate anything other than that you've died multiple times. Thanks for all the compliments! P.S. Very interesting, this game excels at an atmosphere of isolation IMO, even though you're on a paved, lit road with cars coming and going, and a map in your hand... it honestly feels like you're really the only person or thing around at all. if it weren't for the occasional homicidal car, i could see myself playing this just to relax and zone out. Lol yah i was thinking on the same lines, its relaxing as it reminds me, the car tire sounds, of traveling in the car when i was a kid and listening to the cars passing and hitting gravel or water. Or like when i used to go out and walk for an hour or so around the neighborhood and the cars passing on the long straight street sections as i walked. The first time I saw the visuals I thought "the monsters are either going to be 2D, or very pixelated", but boy was I wrong! The game has an immense atmosphere that I have not experienced in any other game before. To be completely honest, I'd rather play the game as the way you did, without using the phone. Having a fully usable phone takes away from the loneliness. Maybe an update could include losing the phone when you die and then maybe having to use a paper map, or rely on street signs.
