Cant wait to try this, but mine will be 9' tall! I have gallon cans of pl185, and it should work great with the textured blanket fabric i fished from a knitting companys trash. ( after asking and recieving permission)! The fabric has been mainly used as cat bedding for winter shelters for homeless cats. Now u can finally do a great halloween! Thanks for all the help!

Damn! Great work and awesome inspiration with all you do! I had this idea of one of these using a burlap, cement mache. Chicken wire base with one role of burlap dragged through a mortar slurry and draped over. My concerns are storage and weight. Could be flakey when dry if it's not wrung out enough. Thanks again for all the energy you put in. Know that you are spawning tons more in the minions watching.

Could the body have been made from old torso models that a store no longer uses? Also, MinWax spray polyurethane seals foam against the effects of spray paint. My big question is: Why is everything in the video mirror imaged?
@StiltbeastStudios
@StiltbeastStudios 3 жыл бұрын
yes you could use a mannequin, but they are much harder to get ahold of. it would seal it, but there was no need for it so why add cost. and its mirrored because front facing cameras do that.

its floor underlayment, so its meant to go in a home or under hardwood flooring. its flammable, but most things are flammable. I have never had an issue with it from inspectors. It has less mass than a plastic garbage can, and those are also toxic when burning and flammable, so I feel its in the same boat.

Just FYI, but you don't really need to cut a circle for the head, as all you need to do, when you've folded it in four, is cut little slits along the fold lines. As in an X, because then the head just pops through it, but also the triangular parts that poke up can look sort of like a neck or collar. Hope you like my suggestion

I know, as haunters, we find alternative solutions for expensive problems. But, where along the way did you decide to try heating up tile subflooring to see if it would stick? Smh. As always, I am impressed Allen.

Given the uncertainty caused by panic this year, I am scaling down my display to basically my grave yard. These will be perfect to add to my existing props quickly and on the cheap. Now if you could do a tutorial for building a canvas and liquid nails container to store the 2000+ props I have, I and my cluttered attic and garage would be even more grateful.

I am going to be leaving my statues outside in the elements and at the end of the video you stated that they were somewhat waterproof since they had been treated with liquid nails. Would the addition of Loctite to join the individual canvas pieces together help make the statue water proof or would you suggest an additional water proof coating to achieve that.
