While these old episodes are still enjoyable, the show got way better after Daren and Josh left. It became less dramatic and more focused directly on the cars

I'd like to see another car show (besides "MotorWeek") that wasn't a soap opera in disguise. That's why I've stopped watching all these "car shows". Too much Hama-Drama made up emotional bullcrap between the cast members. Those of us old enough to remember Bud Lindeman and his show "Car and Track" know what a performance car program should be.

The later season's are much better. They really find they're groove as a car show and it starts being fun. Stick with it.

Thanks Don. I agree 100% and now we know why HOLLY isn't around Daren would of been gone the day he went over to the studio and bothered her there without mark telling him to f off while he was supposed to be doing something else. I would of fired him the first day he back talked me I offered a couple of years ago to come in and micro manage the shop and to get rid of the dead weight then.

As I've said before the only people I would be paying good.wages on a regular basis are Dave the fitter ,Phil the painter ,and George the panel man .Plus the super outworkers the rest ain't worth a candle ,have you not noticed how pale and callow Josh is ,you can tell full time gamers a mile off ,he ain't got a good days work in him .

carrying dead weight in a buisuness can be deadly for the buisuness. provoking them to find a better fit for all can be better than having to fire them . playing the game is largely due to the laws , can’t just say to the employees you’re not up to it you need to go . it’s a minefield. hope the family situation is all good for them , grandchildren need good relationships

I had an employee like Darren, he was great when he first started, then the attitude started, I asked him politely to stop one night at a bbq when he was drunk, he launched into a foul mouthed rant at me in front of about 50 people, he sacked himself and when he threatened tribunal I produced 50 witness statements including one from his wife, end of problem
