HEY GUYS IM HAVING THE SAME EXACT ISSUE WITH THE PASSANGERS SIDE DOOR GAP -SAGGING ISSUE, QUESTION?? USING THE TURN BUCKLES IS THERE A TRICK TO KEEPING THE DOORS ALIGNED ONCE THE BUCKLES ARE REMOVED?

Sorry we have not answer you, but we have been real busy. This car was previously at another shop and was put together improperly. It was not "X" out and not squared up. We made turn buckles to adjust the car and to hold it in place, then we cut loose improperly welded areas and then shim the body of the car up and down. We tighten up body mounts until they held the body in place, which allowed the turn buckle to become loose without tension. The chevy Convertible body flexes quite a bit so make sure you have tighten down to the frame before starting any body work or metal fab.
